Meet Rebecca
Rebecca L. Wetzel, Esq.

After graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law, Rebecca Wetzel served as a prosecuting attorney in Lynchburg and Campbell County for well over a decade. During her time as a prosecutor, Rebecca earned a reputation as a skilled trial attorney capable of handling the most difficult criminal cases, including rapes and murders.
Rebecca has lectured multiple times at statewide conferences for prosecutors on the laws of evidence. For four years, Rebecca also served on the faculty of the week long trial advocacy class for young prosecutors.
During law school, Rebecca served the underprivileged community of Rockbridge County in the Community Legal Practice Clinic at Washington and Lee School of Law. Rebecca also studied for a summer as a Blackstone Fellow at the Alliance Defending Freedom.
Rebecca grew up in the anthracite coal region of Pennsylvania but has lived her entire adult life in Virginia. Rebecca is an avid sports fan and history buff and has founded blogs on both of those topics.
